Named Entity Recognition (External Tool)

Named entity recognition (NER) aims to identify and extract words that are named entities: organization or person names, geographical locations, dates, times, numbers, etc. This task has many applications in search, translation, and marketing. Hebrew poses particular challenges, as the language lacks the capitalized letters that often are indicators of named entities in other languages.
